MONTH OF SPOOKS DAY 4: There is nothing to be afraid of…

When Will (Logan Marshall-Green) and his partner Kira (Emayatzy Corinealdi) are invited to his ex-wife's house for a dinner party, all appears to be a relaxed affair with old friends and good wine.  But as ex-wife Eden (Tammy Blanchard) and her new partner David (Michiel Huisman) begin acting increasingly shady, Will grows increasingly suspicious of their intentions.

MONTH OF SPOOKS DAY 1: What are you hungry for?

Julia Ducournau's debut film, Raw, is a deliciously affecting coming-of-age horror drama about a young woman who develops a taste for human meat. Over the course of a week, during veterinary school hazing, staunch vegetarian Justine (Garance Marillier) finds herself in the midst of an identity crisis; her head saying 'no' to food that once lived, but her heart and gut crying out for a feast of flesh.

Winter Is Coming – Game of Thrones (Season 1-6)

Before I begin, if you haven't heard of Game of Thrones, have you been living in a dungeon under the Red Keep?  Whether your exposure is the TV series, the fantasy novel series, "A Song of Ice and Fire", on which it is based, or a good ol' Ned Stark 'Winter is Coming' meme, there is no denying Game of Thrones has become a force to be reckoned with in popular culture.  Chronicling the fight for the 'Iron Throne', and therefore control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Game of Thrones follows nine noble families (and many not-so-noble) as they play, well, the game of thrones.  Here I present to you a part-review, part-summary of the story so far.

The Man Without Fear – Daredevil (Season 1)

At it's heart a crime story, Marvel's Daredevil is something of an origin tale for Matt Murdoch (Charlie Cox), about his journey to becoming the man behind the titular Daredevil's mask. Blinded as a boy in a tragic accident, he develops extraordinary senses that compliment his superior intelligence, allowing him to fight injustice by day as a respected lawyer, and by night as a masked vigilante.
